Living the English Life

I have not been able to breath since the last post, let alone stop to write anything!!!!

First off, here's what the atlantic looks like over here:

JADE green. beautiful. and a rocky shore.  bitter cold, but beautiful. we spent the whole day at Brighton beach on England's French coast.  There's a ton of high end shops and of course the beach and the pier, and than there's the Royal Pavillion, this unbelievable castle built by one of the Kings (I believe George V).  We couldn't take pictures inside but this was the outside

Yeah not too shabby.

We have been running all over London, I swear I must have walked about 15 miles.

Well Kingston is fantastic, really really really great.  This is my first night in, and while I have had so much fun going out I really needed the night in to talk to my parents and to E2 and just remember who I was for a minute!!  I spent all yesterday in central London, Westminster and Louchester, seeing the sights and than going to the pubs at night.  Me and my friend Sara from Kansas City ended up going off on our own and meeting two really cute english guys. Hahaha we are true charmers, things are easier when you just play up the "accent" we supposedly have. These are the boys, Andy (his real name is Rasputen? I dont know.) with the crazy Robert Pattinson hair, and Will the Michael Phelps lookalike:

The pictures are really small, I know.  I was thinking later this week when I had the chance to stop and relax I'll make an ENE flickr page for everyone to check out as well.  Anyway we had planned to meet up with the boys tomorrow night but one won't be in town and the other one has a football match to play (yeah I'm talking British!). Oh well!! We're heading into London tomorrow again so maybe we'll meet some more charming Englishmen haha.  Heres our group outside of Parliament, and the changing of the guards

As I was waiting to catch my bus back home from London I ended up running into Kerry.  Kerry was the tenant at my house a year or so ago, and she ended up getting together with Torie's oldest son, Alex.  Now she's moved back to Kingston full-time and they're living together.  I had met her before when I moved in on the first day, but this was my first time really getting to hang out and talk and it was the first time I met Alex.  They were both soo cool and it was really great getting to know them, but I had had quite a lot to drink by the end of the night!!!  I was so so so so hungover this morning.

Friday was orientation.  We all went through about six hours of pointless orientation stuff and than went out to the pubs and hopped around drinking here and there.  It was really really fun.

Anyway, I really do love it here.  Our group of friends is pretty close, there was no awkward adjustment period or anything.  The things I am having problems with: not being able to randomly text E2 throughout the day with pointless life tidbits, easy transportation, and FOOD. i have eaten 2 meals in the last 4 days!!!! Last night I was so hungry that I was getting these insane muscle cramps and I was like scared!! Haha my friend offered to drop me food off but we all live fairly far away from each other so I turned him down.

Transportation is a BITCH. I haven't gotten a bus home successfully yet. I hate it. It's driving me nuts. Really I miss cars and stuff. And I miss Toby and E2 annnnd chicken cheesesteaks.  So if I could get all those here that would be perfection!!!!!

Ok, well more later!
